Cookie Policy

Updated: 22 July 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, for example) are small pieces of data stored in your browser so that the Service works correctly and remembers your choices. Below is exactly what we use. This is a supplement to the Privacy Policy.

2. Strictly necessary and functional (there are no others)

We use only what the Service cannot work without or what stores your own settings (the legal basis being legitimate interest). That is precisely why we show no consent banner: there are no optional cookies in the Service.

  • Sign-in session: a secure session refresh token (an httpOnly cookie) that keeps you signed in so you do not have to enter your password every time.
  • Interface language: a cookie holding your chosen language so that pages open in it.
  • Settings in localStorage: the theme (light/dark) and your most recent choices in forms (the audience of a report, for example). This data never leaves your browser.

3. Analytics — without cookies

We collect visit statistics with our own tool (self-hosted Umami) on our servers. It sets no cookies, builds no profiles and shares no data with third parties — only anonymised counters of pages and actions. So there is nothing to switch off here either: the analytics leaves no personal trace in your browser.

4. Third-party technologies

  • Sentry — error logging for stability; normally works without cookies.
  • Maps (OpenStreetMap, Esri) — while map tiles are loading your browser contacts their servers, which may receive your IP address. This is necessary to display the map.

We do not use advertising cookies and show no third-party ads. Should this ever change, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
